PG Pyes
" We are English, and live here on the Monterey Peninsula. We are currently setting up a local business called PG Pyes - all based around a traditional English family recipe.
Our Ham and Egg hand held pies are an original recipe from Oxborough - Lesley's Grandmother. May was born in Suffolk, England in 1902. As a little girl Lesley remembers May baking pies once a year just after Christmas. She used left over Christmas ham from the family celebrations and sourced eggs from the food farm. A once a year treat that family and friends always looked forward to . Of course the tradition was passed to Lesley's mum, Irene and now in 2018 Lesley takes that tradition and bakes pies for our family holiday celebrations.
We have taken May's recipe adn re=created those very pies- we no longer use lefovers but top quality ingredients sourced here in California. We bake for friends and special events and intend to launch PG Pyes later in 2018."
